Shinboku Karate has helped me grow both physically and mentally. The advanced training pushed me to reach my black belt, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the support from the community here.
My son has been attending karate classes here for over a year, and I’ve seen such a transformation in his confidence and discipline. The instructors create a great balance of fun and focus for the kids!
I started training at Shinboku Karate with no prior experience, and I’m amazed at how much I’ve progressed. The instructors are incredibly patient and skilled, making every class challenging but rewarding.

Our instructors are highly experienced, including Graham Fisher (6th Dan) and Shaun Kisby (7th Dan), who have decades of experience and have trained numerous champions. Many of our instructors and students have gone on to become national and world champions.
The first half of each lesson is dedicated to stretching and warm-ups to prevent injuries. When sparring, all students are required to wear hand and foot pads, with the option to wear additional protection like mouthguards or groin guards.
For your first class, please wear comfortable workout attire. You may wear trainers if needed for medical reasons, but it’s preferable to train barefoot. Please avoid wearing jeans, shoes, or jewellery during training.
